Nothing really new..

Houston gets the first pick in the draft. What are your thoughts on the Lone Star State?
The first thing that comes to mind is Texas has no state income tax—that could really come in handy. And, from everything else I’ve heard, they have great facilities and the city of Houston really supports the Texans. The team has wonderful owners and a strong coaching staff on top of everything else. They’re a team that's looking to turn things around and I’m hoping I can help them do that.

I didn't even think of that. But he should realize that a smaller contract in Houston may be worth more than a larger contract in another city because of no state income taxes.

They probably interviewed him before he came to visit too.

Man when I read what the kid says I really feel like he is only in it for the money, not for the love of Houston. I kinda get that Terrel Owens feeling in my stomach, but he is young and dumb so I hope that is the case.

I also get that feeling that he is insecure about his size since he likes to compare himslef towards Faulk. This article looks like he wrote the questions and the answers and mailed it in to FHM.

Could you please expound on this claim? Because I get the feeling that he compares himself towards Faulk because he has a similar style and he grew up watching him at SDSU

When you've worked that hard and invested the time and effort it takes to become the potential #1 pick in the NFL (especially a draft year like this), money is definitely a priority. From the perspective of the player, it is crucial WHEN you get picked, and which team albeit very important, is secondary.

I know it's hard from the perspective of a fan to understand, and any player will tell you, it's a business first. If VY had a choice, be a Texan at pick #33, or the Jets at #4, I highly doubt he picks the Texans.

I have the same feeling.. I hope we are both wrong if we draft him.
