Only good sign is that he's a fromer Pat, so he should atleast be able to be coached up some.
5 WR sets coming soon?

He's never caught a pass in the NFL, but his rookie season he did have have 703 yards on kick returns with an average return of 20.1.

Maybe he's going to be a punt returner? Mathis didn't do much of anything in punt returns and I don't know if the Texans are going to but their #1 draft pick out there on punts.

Right now...I have faith in Kubiak, and whatever decision he makes...I will support. Anything he does is better than what Capers and Co did, so I shall not argue or piss & moan about his decisions. Do whatever it takes Kubiak.

Maybe this guy was brought in as a possible replacement in the return game if Mathis improves enough as a WR to warrant more playing time on offense. Remember when Mason of the Titans made the Pro Bowl as a returner, then slowly worked in as a starting WR and (mostly) stopped being the return man?
Just a thought...

Went to my old high school in Pittsburgh, Pa. (Penn Hills). Average Wide REceiver who never really got a chance to play due to the depth chart and injuries. Not too speedy, and could beat out the new signee from Cincinnati. Other wise, will most likely be a body for camp and practices!:redtowel:
