Falcons | Trade for Crocker near completion

Steve Wyche, of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports the Atlanta Falcons are close to trading their fourth-round draft pick in the 2006 NFL Draft to the Cleveland Browns for S Chris Crocker. The trade will be completed when Crocker passes his physical.

I don't know much about him but a fourth round pick doesn't seem like too much for him.

The Falcons must be very disappointed in the play of their FS Scott. Keion Carpenter is gone, and they just brought in Lawyer Milloy. I'm guessing Crocker will play the FS position for them, and leave Milloy at SS.

This is GREAT for us.

If the Falcons take care of the FS need now, they will not take Ko Simpson at #15. We have an even more realistic chance now.
