Way less than what Givens wanted and better stats last year....

I wish Givens would wake up and take our contract

Not likely hes going to sign a lower offer than he wants with a lot of teams after him.

He's also less talented than Givens. Bryant was the #1 guy last year for the Browns while Braylon Edwards was injured. The Browns had almost zero depth at receiver, so of course Bryant had better stats.

Givens was a far more consistent player, but he played in a Patriots system that limited his numbers because they spread the ball around to everyone.

Despite the fact that Givens is far superior to Bryant, I'd still rather have Bryant as our #2 receiver than some of the inexperienced garbage that the Texans are after. But nope, we lost our chance at Bryant, too, because we weren't aggressive.

I have always been enamored by Bryant's talent level since his days at Pitt, but I would not invest that jack in a guy that could easily become a cancer in the locker room. Yes we want production, but not at the expense of the Kubiak regime soldifying its method of operation in the first year.

I still think that Gaffney is the best option production and salary wise...wont put up the same kind of #'s...but will take a lot less $$...I just dont think Givens is worth 5 mil/year

I like the idea of AJ, Givens, and Gaffney
