So the top 5 teams have to pay more. We happen to be one of the top 5 teams... and we are still having to pay off the $700,000 we paid for the team.. and the millions we paid for Reliant.

I dunno exactly how this works.. but it looks to me like we are getting screwed in this deal.

I hope Mr. McNair isnt getting the short end of the stick.

I see what you are saying, but I have to believe that there will be a concession somewhere given to the high revenue owners moving forward. You do not subsidize without given more control somewhere.

you would think.. but from the sounds of that article.. alot of the owners signed it not because they were incredibly happy with the deal, but just because they wanted to get the job done so the **** wouldnt hit the fan.

I would imagine that those owners are going to have more input here on out in where expansion is, how owners are able to move thier teams and eventually yield the most power in selecting a new commish. Purely speculation on my part, but there has to be something that was given that only those owners know about.

if we were Packers fans the title of this thread would be "The new revenue sharing plans is great"

Who is this "we" you mention. I haven't recieved a bill yet for my portion. This is a great deal for the NFL, and most importantly for us fans. I'm sure Mcnair knew what he was doing, and I doubt we will see him in a soup line anytime soon.

I hear ya Porky. it is our problem but, on the other hand, you have to feel a little sorry for McNair for being penilized (sp?) for being a successful bussinessman. But, im glad its happening, for the NFL's sake at least.
