He Re-signed.

Well take him off the list. This should mean Edge is leaving.

Bye-bye Edge!

I think he's a tad bit overpaid as well. I thought he'd get around the 6-28mil range. Look for the Colts to be in fun cap hell in about 2 years.

Didn't we say that about two years ago?

Why yes we did, tell him what he's won Ed.

I agree also he is worth the money.

When you think of your own team first you kinda get mad that you didn't nab him yourself!

That just about assures that Edgerrin will be headed to Jacksonville now.

MAN i knew this was going to happen
i say we still have a chance to a good WR
Brandon Lloyd
Nate Burlenson
and Antonio Bryant
I realy think we should try to bring in one of these two guys. If we dont resign Gaffney.

We would have to give up a first and third for Burleson and that is as likely to happen as David Carr to get sacked less than five times the rest of his career.

Lloyd is also a RFA, so Antonio Bryant, here we co...:pigfly:

May not, if L. White, D Williams, or L Maroney start to slide down into the 20's of the first round. Colts could move up to grab one. And who knows depending on what the teams in front of them need, one could fall to them (have seen it i on several mock drafts already).

Now I'm not saying these players are as good as Edge, but they are not slouches either, plus they have Mungro as a solid 3rd down back (for picking up blitzes).:twocents:

Wayne is now the 3rd highest paid WR in the NFL. That is crazy. With Marvin Harrison on the other side (the #1 paid WR by the way--let's see 2 of top 3 paid WR's and top paid QB) there are tons of WR's who could have been plugged in to that system and been just as productive--for example Antonio Bryant would be scary with Manning throwing to him. Good to see the Colts make a bad cap management decision. They may never melt down from the cap, but there are always trade-offs.
