Hmmmm, the weather reports are all over the place--some say 30-40% rain, some say no rain.

Right now, it looks most beautimus outside. Nice tailgate weather. Looks like there is rain offshore.

The Channel 2 website has this goofy but nice forecast: "The front has moved through. Now through Thanksgiving the weather looks good enough to gobble up!" I guess that is the sort of forecast you expect from a newscast that prominently features a weather dog.

Anyhow, just looking at the few clouds in the sky, the weather dog forecast looks right. Rain a lot last night, and now there is mostly blue skies and some high wispy clouds. Hope it sticks for later.

Let's Go Texans!!! :texflag:

What is the series b/w us and the Chiefs? Is it tied?

We live for Sundays???

We're in for another embarrassment (3 in a row now) in front of a national audience. The good news is this will be last one for several years.

Maybe this game will motivate McNair to finally make some management changes.

Our Houston Texans will tackle the Cheifs from Kansas City. Sunday Night Football, in Reliant Stadium, our house.

This is a big game for us in my eyes, with a win, we may be able to get something big going. I'm getting pumped for this game, and so should you. Cheer us on heavily, whether your going to the game or not. Be loud, we need to represent!

Lets hope for a win!

marroncito
11-20-2005, 08:09 PM
What's up with our LBs and play recognition? On the Chiefs score, the FB and the TE went in motion and the FB flexed out into the slot. Were the Chiefs even remotely going to throw to Richardson in the slot? The LOLB saw this and moved to cover the FB, then thought better and got back down on the line. But he just watched as Johnson took the hand off. I'm not on the field, but I though the LOLB could have had him in the backfield.

I agree with the announcers that the team isn't held accountable. Did you see the conversation with Capers and Johnson? Capers should have been ripping him a new one. . . Instead, he stood there and listened empathetically with his mouth hanging wide open!

I really liked that play for third and long. Our TE was in single coverage and was open. It wasn't the greatest of throws, but it was catchable, but i digress.

Well, what about that big false start that Reilly had that killed us.
This game should demonstrate why we despertly need help on the Oline. We are mking little dumps and short passes, becuase we need to get the ball out of Carr's hands. If we are gonna be a team we must at least let the recivers get down the field. That starts with protection on the Oline.

Carr has 1-3 step drops then must throw the ball. He isnt exactly being given any time becuase the line cannot give him anymore. The line is stillunderperforing, only you do not notice becuase Carr isnt on his back. If he was back in his 5-7 step drops, he would be on his back a few times. Guaranteed. Nah, Carr hasn't fumbled on 3rd down or missed a wide open receiver on 3rd down. He's thrown for 61 yards and led his offensive unit to barely 100 yards and no scores. But he's not part of the problem.

If that was not bad enough AJ drops the rock. P-Burnt has no business in the NFL or on the field for anything other than punt returns so using him on defense is a bone-headed move in itself.
