if he throws it away than the jags have 45 more seconds to move the ball! that was a good decison by dc. if he throws it away he still gets hit, is that better than loosing .5 yds and keeping the clock moving? i dont think so...

I simply don't think that the clock entered Carr's mind. Given his 'trend' to taking silly sacks, I think he simply "Forgot" he could throw it away again.

So no uninjured lineman and just 2 tight ends suited up? Injuries are taking a toll - they better not have any more lineman go down, or Bruener will have to play line and we'll have 1 TE formations the rest of the game.

I think Dom was actually right running the clock out before the half given our field position. The last thing we needed was a turnover and a cheap JAX TD before the half. Now if we were a better team and perhaps had better field position, then yes go for it. However right now we need to limit our chances to make mistakes. In this particular case i agree with Dom.

The david carr of old ...

SACK

FUMBLE

TURNOVER!!

Way to go David!!!!

Can we have Banks on the field?

its the offensive line of old. i cant believe people cant see the difference. the second we move pitts inside the line falls apart. and at that exact time carr started getting sacks and looking bad. doesnt take a brain surgeon to realize there is a connection.

carr had 100 yards and 1 td in a little over a quarter. with good line play.

If they're not going to give him some freedom, then yeah they shouldn't let him audible at all, since it defeats the purpose.

The audoble isn't the issue. What he is allowed to audile to is. He can only change which side it's run to. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb!

That was his point. If Carr audibles, it's almost always a run, and it tips of the opposing defense. Either let Carr have more freedom in audibling or don't audible at all.
