does anyone know the average number of plays a team runs during a game or where i could find this stat??

It is about 60-65 offensive plays per game. NFL.com (http://www.nfl.com/stats/teamsort/NFL/OFF-TOTAL/2004/regular?sort_col_1=4&_1:col_1=3) shows the total number of offensive plays for the season.

60-65 was my initial thought as well ... pretty close to avg .
