IMO we are hanging on to some players that really have not been pulling their weight. I know we have kept some players ,this year and last, due to the lack of depth but there are positions that we can upgrade now. I have heard alot about having a solid #2, well I'm sorry to say, but Bradford is not it. I think we need to "trim the fat" and let some of the other talent step up. I know alot of you are going to say that our other wrs haven't had enough experience but IMHO they can't do any worse and will improve as the season goes on. Besides they have a safety blanket (Andre Johnson). Tony Hollings is another example, he has made very little contribution to our offense. I am not an expert but I can see when someone flat out stinks. I would have got rid of him last year. I just wanted to hear what everyone else thinks. Do yall think this applies to any other positions as well?

This thread is not for you people who want to fire everyone so don't even try. Please no fire Capers or kill Carr post. Thank you.

Fire Capers , Palmer , bench Carr and while we are at it lets run Caserly outa town too :jk:

I completely agree with cutting Hollings and Bradford . Both have had multiple seasons to show that they belong .... Neither have proven themselves .

Other positions .... how about Left Guard and Chester "False Start" Pitts , does he even know the snap count ?

I couldn't agree more. Dump Bradford on his butt and kick Hollings to the curb. Neither of them are contributing to the team at this point. Two interceptions last night primarily because Bradford cut his route short. Either he doesn't understand the new plays or he just doesn't have the desire. Personally I think it's both. I don't think I even have to explain my feelings on Hollings. He showed what we can do last night. one lucky run and a fumble that frankly, I was expecting. Cut your losses Texans. put a fork in these guys.
