The camp tour for this site has hit the Texans and they are now on the front page of CBSSportsline. The main article is of Carr and his hopeful rise to the top as a QB.

I enjoyed reading that piece and thought it was dead-on. I think Carr will have a great year if he has a reasonable chance to do well. Thanks for posting that.

Here is a link to a nice article about Domanick. Reading it makes me feel better about signing him to a long term contract. It sounds like he has a lot of character in addition to being a good back.

All I can say is DC has been one hell of a QB considering his weapons and O-line. :texflag:

"It's part of playing the position," Carr said of the added scrutiny. "I'm a big boy. I get paid enough to handle it. Quarterbacks get a lot of the credit when games get won. When we start doing more of that, I get too much of it."

That right there folks, is what makes him a special player. That's a damned good attitude, and why I'm glad he's our QB

Damn it, reading that, makes me even more irritated about that "incident" after the Cleveland game. :brickwall

Great read, thanks for the post. I love his character and his view on his place here in Houston.

"There should be high expectations for me," Carr said. "If you're picked as high as I was, you expect them. I know it's out there. With the Internet, there's a lot of stuff being said, but we have to go out and do some things to make it all go away."

Wonder if he's talking about the board?

Probably just the Internet in general since media is so widespread these days. It isn't anywhere near the same as ten years ago.
