Rick Smith is now saying that certain members of the coaching staff had too much input on the selection of ornaments.

Wow. Even our Christmas tree comes in at place 29. LOL

Can we just forget this year and pretend it didn't happen?

Who's in charge of tree scouting? Charlie Brown, what are those 2' tall?

McNair is cheap in 5...4...3....2....1............

Pretty much all those trees where lame, I work for a mid sized company, and our tree at just one of our locations is better than every tree on that list.

Getting a bigger tree may have been too traumatic for Rick and Company.

In the FO's defense, they really didn't expect anyone to see it anyway.

I thought there was no way you could do worse than the Cardinals tree. It looks like they keep that one in an intern's office.

Then I saw ours...and as if one pitiful tree wasn't enough, they put two more miserable trees on either side of it.

I thought I saw an ox in a ditch next to it.

lmao @ 10. Carolina Panthers (6.3): It appears a craft store has collided with Phyllis Diller.

comment on deadspin...

The Texans tree wouldn't look so sad if it had some gifts under it. Unfortunately Matt Schaub already handed all of them out to the rest of the league.

I prefer one large tree rather than several smaller ones, just seems like they couldn't commit, you know wishy washy.

Well, the first tree wasn't getting the job done, so they brought in another. The second tree was doing okay, but there were some times when it looked like it wasn't enough and they decided to the first tree around. Then the second tree broke one of its branches, so they had to go to the first tree yet again, all while the third tree was waiting for its chance to seize the limelight.

Is the Cardinals' front office in a van in the middle of the desert?

Yeah but he looks stupid with the red pants. He should wear the white or blue pants instead.

Well John, you know, those trees are young. They just have to keep growing and getting better each week. They look good in practice. They gotta keep battling though, keep getting better. It's on me to make those trees look good. I've got to do a better job getting them ready.

Yeah Barry, I would have liked a better result. You know, we had a better tree on the roster but him and two other shrubs were caught roasting some chestnuts in the team tree farm. So I made the decision to cut them. Literally.

Yeah Mark I would have liked to pull Treeuab after he threw that 3rd pine comb but we believe he has all the tools to lead us you know. Just has to keep battling and grow roots. What's that? He plays like he already has roots keeping him in one place? Well that's on me then. I have to do a better job putting the right ornaments around him.....
