BTW, "Texicans" is a rude insult. The last man that called us Texicans rather than "Texians" or "Texans", signed over this land. His name? A sad mistake that Antonio de Padua María Severino López de Santa Anna y Pérez de Lebrón aka Santa Anna made.

It's kinda the same ignorance as "Houston, we have a problem".

Which actually turned out to be one of (Houston's) NASA's finest hours...

IGNORANT phuux!

I'll have you know the original Texans called themselves Texicans or Texians alternately before the form Texan was known. I knew some oversensitive dork was going to take exception to the old fashioned name just because it resembles the term Mexicans, one of whom I married.

Now now now. Let's not get all "wounded knee" on each other.

In all reality though, I have no idea of what to expect with the team no longer under the burden of Kubiak. Will they all of a sudden change and try something new? Or just experiment a little? Or be the same old Texans? If nothing else it will be interesting to see how Wade fights for a job.

I missed that. Pissed about what? Were they pissed after the first Jags loss? After their third, fourth, or fifth consecutive loss?

They should have been pissed a long time ago. If they were, being pissed doesn't seem to help.

We're going to win. I don't care what the score is and I don't care if we get the #1 pick or not. I want to win no matter the outcome.

I won't call you bat **** crazy, because that is what typically happens to teams that go through a jolting change like this*. The question is, do the Texans respond like a typical team? It often seems they don't.

*I am also open to the idea that this is a form of confirmation bias, and subconsciously I can only remember the times teams step it up under a new coach.

No matter the outcome I surly hopes he loses his battle. NO to Wade for the HC's job. DO NOT WANT!

The players have checked out. They're planning their summer vacations right now. We lose. And I don't think they even get in the end zone.
