View Full Version : NFL Scheduling:Bills contact NFL about unfair deal
The*Buffalo Bills*want a level playing field when it comes to their schedule. The team's website points out that six of the team's opponents have had extra time to prepare forBills*games because they faced Buffalo after a bye week or a "Thursday Night Football" game. That's the highest total in the league, with the*Atlanta Falcons*up next with four such games. The*Bills*have*taken their complaints to the NFL.

Yeah that's why the Bills have sucked for the last 13 years+ - its not their epic fails at drafting, QB fails, coach fails...

Yeah, let's fix this crap and get rid of Thursday night games.

Its a valid point. You give NFL coaches extra time to prepare and its an advantage, no arguing that. In today's NFL, teams are so close, something that small can make all the difference in the world. Bad job of scheduling.

Bad job of scheduling. Agreed. It doesn't matter how good / bad they may have been in the past, it's about giving someone a competitive advantage NOW.

And next year they'll be complaining that they're getting unfair treatment because none of the teams they're facing had bye weeks, and they're all in full on game mode, and don't come out sleepy from their bye week.
The Bills are not .300 because of opposition bye weeks. The Bills are .300 because they are the Bills.
