Kick-off has been moved from a 3:25 kickoff to a noon kickoff.

That work's great for me!

I like evening games, as I'm more of a night person, and I can get more things done BEFORE I start drinking beer.

Aside from that, this looks bad for the team. Late afternoon and prime time games are considered more prestigious and national, and helps build a national fan base. But, oh well. We don't deserve it anyway.

I just want fans to shut up about the national media "not respecting us" enough. We have not earned it.

Not that they would flex any. Texans game at this point but good thing it wasn't of the score would be 210 to 3 instead of 56 to 3.

The NFL flexing this game is not a good thing for the Texans. It just indicates that the NFL doesn't see the game being worthy enough for the 3:25 time slot. They probably think the Patriots will steam roll through us.

Hehe - would you want to have that game on if you weren't a Texan fan? 2-7

Great job Rick and Gary in less than one year you have made the Texans irrelevant again.

As an NFL fan? No, I would rather watch the Den/KC game. That's the 2nd time the KC/Denver matchup got flexed to a later time slot.

As a sidenote: The 3:25 game is probably the time slot I dislike the most for my team to be in. The majority of the time I miss the first of the game because there is a noon game still going on. Even if it's not the original game on TV they will still switch to it instead of showing the beginning of the 3:25 game, like the case when the NYJ/NE game went to OT earlier in the year.

Good. I prefer the noon kickoffs.

We will get to see them get their asses handed to them 3 hours earlier? :kitten:

Well, that does make sense. We'll then have more time Sunday to talk about how Kubiak and Smith need to go.

Correct. This is not good for the brand of this team.

To be fair, this is what the team deserves, you can't just play one good half of football and expect to win on your defense every game it doesn't work like that in the real NFL or even most mildly competitive games of Madden.

Meh... I saw this "flex" coming before today.

They had us in that time slot because they expected it to be a game between two teams in first place in their division or at least two teams vying for a playoff spot.

We'd need a few miracles for that to be the case so, for me, it's no big deal. I prefer the noon games, anyway.

This is what happens when your team stinks.

As long as the team stinks you will continue to get your preferance. Joy

Right. I'm surprised it didn't get flexed to 10 am Tuesday.
