What a massive comeback yesterday, and hell obviously week 1 for that matter. Big 2-0 (1-0 in division) start considering we are now entering a BRUTAL stretch over the next 7 games.

@ 1-1 Ravens - Defending champs on the road in tough environment.
Vs 2-0 Seahawks - Toughest game of the year?
@ 1-1 49ers - Toughest game of the year?
Vs 1-1 Rams - Fisher has this team rounding into form, with a QB.
@ 2-0 Chefs - Reid with the surprise team of 13? Arrowhead.
Vs 1-1 Colts - Rival game vs. Colts who could be 2-5 at this point? Seriously.
@1-1 Cards - Worst team in the BEST division in the NFL, on the road.

Good news is the Colts schedule is brutal as well and they could very well be in a tough position to overcome a bad start to even make the playoffs, conversely looking at Titans schedule if they beat the Chargers next week, they could be looking at a 8-10 win season. We really needed that win yesterday. Thank gawd we dodged that bullet.

Going to be interesting to see where things are at mid November when we get a favorable 2 game stretch of the Raiders and Jags at home, before our revenge game vs. The pats.

GO TEXANS!!!!

Heck, they can't play like that and expect to beat the Ravens either! I know the old saying "sometimes it's better to be lucky than good," but sooner or later the luck will run out. And, when it does, you'd better be good. I just hope they can tie up all the loose ends before their luck does run out.

Say what you will about how we played yesterday but the titans defense played pretty damn good. They were attacking the entire game and were constantly in the back field. I think the chargers and titans are better than they were last year and we should be glad we have wins against two quality opponents.

We're going to see that Chargers' offense vs that Titans' defense. That should tell us something about us. We were befuddled early, ended up scoring 30 on them. 24 in regulation.

The Chargers hung 28 on us. Lets see what they do vs Tennessee's defense.

So if the Chargers come out and hang 40 on the Tacks, what does that say about the Texans offense vs. the Tacks defense? If the Tacks pitch a shutout, what does that say about the Texans defense vs. the Chargers offense?

Not sure I like either message, to be honest.

After watching the game last night Im not scared of either team. Seahawks are beatable on the road and their o line isn't all that and Now Okung is hurt.

Kap went from penthouse in week 1 to the crapper in week 2

The "only reason" to beat the Seahawks & 49ers is for bragging rights. So we can say, "We can". If we beat the Ravens & lose the next two, we're 3-2 (3-0 in conference).

We don't need to make those games bigger than they are. Beating them min the regular season means nothing. Doesn't mean we can beat them in the Super Bowl (neutral setting), doesn't mean we can't.

We've got the Rams & the Chiefs after those two. We can be 5-2 going into the bye if we lose to Seattle & SanFran.... ain't nothing wrong with that.

Seattle just set a Guinness World Record for loudest sport event yesterday at 136+ decibel, beating out a soccer event in Istanbul.

Being out of conference they don't affect tie breakers much ....but when it comes to finishing with the best record in the conference , they all matter the same.

Yawn at this logic. Match-ups rule the day. If the Bolts don't match-up with TEN, they'll get clowned, and vice versa.

We as sports fans have got to stop using this mindset. IMO, it's very misguided.

Unless you're expecting us to go undefeated, we're going to lose a game or two (or three) somewhere. If we can pick & chose those (I know we can't) non-conference is the way to go.

FYI, my point here is to get ahead of the doom & gloom that's sure to erupt in the case we lose to one of these two "elite" teams. If we lose to them, "It's over, we suck, we can't beat the elite teams." If they lose to us, "It wasn't prime time, it doesn't mean anything, they weren't at full strength yet."

I'm not overly impressed with 2-0 right now. I'll take it, and no apologies are being asked for, but for anyone who wants to give props to the Tacks and Bolts for being improved, I am personally reluctant to confuse them with the elite teams. I have little doubt Houston should make the post season this season. We have enough talent to do that, but currently, I'm still getting over the taste of a pathetic home stretch from last season capped by the 2nd beat down by the Patriots. This 2-0 team has shown me nothing to suggest they have made any strides from last year. They continue to beat the teams I would expect

Looking at the schedule, the next 7 games are a mixed bag. The next 3 are HUGE. I like knowing the Texans seem to always play well against the Ravens. But Seattle and S.F.... wow. read option qb's with top/elite Defenses are going to be a bad match ups.

Thank god for 2-0. I hope it doesn't serve us by easing some of the pain felt by the time we play St. Louis.

GO TEXANS!!!!Looking forward to playing the chefs as while they can bring the heat they usually remain in the kitchen and if Kubiak orders correctly, we should enjoy a fine meal.

I have caused consternation in the past by focusing more on play than Ws but I want to see our players getting better. Keo is a prime example that may be experiencing a Kareem Jackson turn around. I am concerned that Reed may not have rust knocked off and could creat penalties ala Pollard. Cushing has taken a huge load off my mind as has Mitchell. Now if we could just get Mays to step up.

Oh I don't disagree with this at all .... If I had to lose , I'd rather lose an out of conference game too , knowing they don't come into play in most tie breaker situations.

Yeah , that's a good point .... but I think that's almost unavoidable , we're gonna have to put up with the Debbie Downers if the team goes 15-1 & loses the Super Bowl on the final play.

We are the HOUSTON TEXANS!!!

I know San Diego brought their A game because they wanted to test themselves against us. I know the Titans stepped it up because they wanted to test themselves against us.

We're going to get everybody's A game, because they know they have to bring it if they are to have a chance at leaving with the W..... we're that team now.

Next week we're playing the Super Bowl Champs in their house. We should know to bring our A game.

Then we're playing two of the NFC Favorites.... we should know to bring it.

I think we'll get a better idea of who we are over the next three weeks.

HOU is nowhere near to playing great football, which to me is a good thing. I feel the brutal upcoming schedule will serve as a type of wake up call that they cant drag ass and expect to win against these guys. Must be clicking on all cylinders and make a statement that they are for real.
