I will be unable to head to Houston for any draft festivity as I have a hippy wedding to attend in Austin on Saturday.

Anyone getting together?

I have not yet frequented the new sports bar, 3rd Base, but I hear it is great.

Looks nice I will definitely have to make it down for a a game sometime. I will be out of pocket for a watch party but will be at the Wranglers game that night so I suppose I will have to catch up on the draft later.:king:

Unfortunatetly there are. I am pumped up about this one with a number of my friends singing and playing at the reception. Chances of drum circle, 50%. :grouphug:

yes it is Winnie the Pooh's friend and we celebrate his b-day every year and have for like 40 yrs or so. Like thet said in previous posts---hippies----:)
We also have Spamarama, and various other wierd events.

Hey I went to Third Base the other day.

Not bad place all the TV are flat pannels ...

Menu prices are as follow:

Bottles: $3.00 to $4.50
Draft: $3.50 to $5.50

Food $6.50 to $8.00
the sampler is $14.00 Potatoe skins wings and cheese sticks.

Not a bad place really, it has garage parking so that is a plus and do not have to worry as much about finding a parking spot because it is on the north end of downtown on 6th closer to Mopac.

I am willing to try and meet here maybe when the season starts but dont expect much. I could fire up the old ATX fan club list but most never showed, after looking at thos prices it sure makes me miss good ol Saxon pub:vinny: , with free grub and cold cold beer:shades: , and the best service in the world!:heart:
