In the offseason, I try to get some golf in. The weather is better in the fall, but that's football time of year. Hot weather golf is nice because usually the courses are less crowded, and I'd rather play uncomfortably hot golf than slow golf.
But what sorts of things do you do to prepare for next football season? Here's some idears:
1. If you are a tailgater, do you have all your tailgate stuff in order? Any new stuff you planning to add? With the internet and e-Bay, there is all sorts of cool stuff out there--use the offseason to get your tailgate just right.
2. If you want to get your gameday wardrobe up to speed, this is the perfect time to be eyeballing stuff. Around the 4th of July, there is all sorts of red, white and blue attire in the stores--nice prices after the holiday. Also, do you have your eye on a specialty jersey? Maybe one with your name on it? Get it now, before the rush. (I'm hoping DeMeco jerseys start showing up in Academy--if they don't I'm gonna be sore about it).
So what do you like to do in the off-season? Or to prepare for next season? Love to hear from you.
